Clear storytelling is the most important part of making comics. But what if you aren’t the only one telling the story? This workshop for high school students focuses on the basics of clear visual storytelling and challenges everyone to follow those guidelines as we collaborate on comics together.
Jonathan Hill is a cartoonist living in Portland, OR. His work has appeared in publications by First Second Books, Fantagraphics, Roar Comics, and Image Comics. He is currently working on new comics for Oni Press and First Second Books. He teaches comics at PNCA, OCAC, and Writers in the Schools.
