ON THE TENTH SEASON OF THE ARCHIVE PROJECT, ENJOY DISCUSSIONS FROM PORTLAND ARTS & LECTURES, PORTLAND BOOK FESTIVAL, AND OTHER COMMUNITY EVENTS FROM OUR HOME IN PORTLAND, OREGON AND BEYOND.
Michael Copperman has taught writing to low-income, first-generation students of diverse backgrounds at the University of Oregon for the last decade. His prose has appeared in the Oxford American, the Sun, Creative Nonfiction, Salon, Gulf Coast, and Guernica, among other magazines, and he has won awards and garnered fellowships from the Munster Literature Center, Breadloaf Writers’ Conference, Literary Arts, and the Oregon Arts Commission. Teacher: Two Years in the Mississippi Delta (University Press of Mississippi) is his first book.
Our events, classes, and seminars bring the community together to hear, learn, and discuss the most compelling issues and ideas of our day. We hope you will join us in our downtown Literary Arts space, online, and at partnering venues across Portland and Oregon.
