ON THE NINTH SEASON OF THE ARCHIVE PROJECT, ENJOY DISCUSSIONS FROM PORTLAND ARTS & LECTURES, PORTLAND BOOK FESTIVAL, AND OTHER COMMUNITY EVENTS FROM OUR HOME IN PORTLAND, OREGON AND BEYOND.
Many students from Roosevelt High School in Portland will be active at the Portland Book Festival this year!
Unique Ink, the student-operated educational publishing press of Roosevelt High School, will exhibit in the book fair (in the Portland Art Museum’s Mark Building). The anthology Change Cannot Be Tamed, created through Literary Arts’ Writers in the Schools program, includes Roosevelt student writers and will launch with an event at the Festival. And Roosevelt students will participate in a pop-up reading in the Portland Art Museum galleries.
Our events, classes, and seminars bring the community together to hear, learn, and discuss the most compelling issues and ideas of our day. We hope you will join us in our downtown Literary Arts space, online, and at partnering venues across Portland and Oregon.
