The largest book festival in the Pacific Northwest returns Saturday, November 10 to the Portland Art Museum and neighboring venues.
Join Literary Arts for the annual Portland Book Festival (formerly Wordstock), presented by Bank of America, returning on November 10, 2018. This one-day event features local and national authors presenting onstage events, pop-up readings, and workshops. Enjoy activities for readers of all ages, an extensive book fair, local food trucks, entry to the Portland Art Museum and more. Gather with your community and celebrate our shared passion for books.
Adult passes are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Paid admissions includes a $5 book voucher redeemable at the book fair. Admission is free to youth ages 17 and younger and students with a valid high school ID. *Note: free tickets do not include the $5 book fair voucher.
Oct. 18th update: the Tom Hanks event is now AT CAPACITY, and ALL guaranteed seating passes have been claimed. Guaranteed seating is still available for the Abbi Jacobson & Lindy West event when you pre-order a book with your festival pass. Pre-sales for the Jacobson & West event ends on Oct. 26th at 5 pm.

Each year, the Portland Book Festival brings thousands of readers to the Southwest Park Blocks for a day-long celebration. The Portland Art Museum will remain the heart of the festival. Events will also take place at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, The Old Church, Oregon Historical Society, Northwest Film Center, and three of the stages of Portland’5: the Brunish Theatre, the Winningstad Theatre, and the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.
