Cathy Camper

Cathy Camper is the author of Lowriders in Space and Lowriders to the Center of the Earth, and Loweriders Blast from the Past. She is the creator of Bugs Before Time: Prehistoric Insects and Their Relatives. Her work has also been featured in Simple Times: Crafts for Poor People by Amy Sedaris. She is a graduate of VONA/Voices writing workshops for people of color in Berkeley, California. Cathy’s a librarian in Portland, Oregon, where she does outreach to schools and kids in grades K-12. For more information: www.cathycamper.com.

Victoria Jamieson

Victoria Jamieson received her BFA in illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design. She worked as a children's book designer before moving to Portland and becoming a freelance illustrator. She has also worked as a portrait artist aboard a cruise ship and has lived in Australia, Italy, and Canada. She maintains a not-so-secret identity as Winnie the Pow, a skater with the Rose City Rollers roller derby league.

Katie O’Dell

Katie O'Dell is a librarian who has whiled away hours tucked in a good book since she first found The Little House by Virginia Lee Burton at age 3. Having served as the John Newbery Award Chair and Notable Children's Books Chair for the American Library Association, she can't resist a stack of picture books or middle grade novels. She loves checklists, almost every kid she's ever met, and Multnomah County Library.
