Chip Miller

Before joining Portland Center Stage, Chip (they/them) held the role of artistic associate/resident director at Kansas City Repertory Theatre for seven years, where their directing credits included School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play, Welcome to Fear City, Sex with Strangers, and A Raisin in the Sun. Beyond KCRep stages, directing credits include Becoming Martin by Kevin Willmott (world premiere, The Coterie Theatre), dwb: driving while black (Lawrence Arts Center), and 4:48 Psychosis (The Buffalo Room). Chip has developed work with playwrights including Kevin Willmott, Kara Lee Corthron, Brittany K. Allen, Catherine Trieschmann, Darren Canady, Andrew Rosendorf, Michelle T. Johnson, and Michael Finke. He has developed work at The William Inge Theater Festival, NYU Steinhardt’s New Plays for Young Audiences, Orlando Shakes’ Playfest, Midwest Dramatists Center, Kansas City Repertory Theatre’s OriginKC: New Works Festival, and Portland Center Stage at The Armory’s JAW Festival. Chip has a B.F.A. from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.

Sara Jean Accuardi

Sara Jean Accuardi’s plays have been presented throughout the United States. She has won the International Thomas Wolf Playwriting Competition, a Drammy Award for Outstanding Original Script, and was an O’Neill National Playwrights Conference finalist. She is a proud member of LineStorm Playwright and holds an MFA from Northwestern University.

Conor is a writer, actor and sometimes banjo-picker based in Portland. He attended The University of Portland and apprenticed at Actors Theatre of Louisville. He currently works at an independent bookstore.

E. M. Lewis is an award-winning playwright and opera librettist, recipient of the Steinberg Award and Primus Prize from the American Theater Critics Association. Her work has been produced around the world, and published by Samuel French. She is the Mellon Foundation Playwright-in-Residence at Artists Repertory Theater. Member: Dramatists Guild.

Anya Pearson

Anya Pearson is an award-winning playwright, poet, producer, actress, and activist. On staff at Corporeal Writing, a Hodder Fellow at Princeton University, her plays include: THE MEASURE OF INNOCENCE (The Kilroys List, Drammy Award for Best Original Script), MADE TO DANCE IN BURNING BUILDINGS (Showcase: Joe’s Pub, NYC; STT, Portland, OR), THE KILLING FIELDS (2018 Orphic Commission; Development: Seven Devils; Great Plains).

Andrea Stolowitz

Andrea Stolowitz is a dual-national (US/German) playwright living and working in Portland, Oregon. Her work embraces bold theatricality ranging from intimate portrayals of the human condition to the intersection of national history on private lives. She is the Lacroute Playwright-in-Residence at Artists Repertory Theatre a member of New Dramatists class of 2024, and a core alumni member of The Playwrights’ Center. Andrea is a resident artist with the internationally lauded devised theater company Hand2Mouth Theatre.
