Pomodoro: Writing Alone Together with Natalie Serber

Wed, Jun 3, 2020 from 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm PDT
online via Zoom audio
Writers, having trouble focusing? Getting words on the page when our lives are so topsy turvy can be hard. There’s newsfeeds to check, social media to refresh, bread to bake, tomatoes to plant, homeschooling and another zoom meeting/happy hour to attend. Enter the pomodoro, named after the famous kitchen timer in the shape of a tomato.
This free event takes place on Zoom, using the “audio only” option. If you’d like to participate, follow this link to register. Please note you need to register every time you attend:
Each session is limited to 30 people.
From your host, Natalie Serber:
Each Wednesday, from 12:30 – 2:30, we’ll virtually meet for a focused window of writing and community. We’ll have a quick hello, share a prompt, then set the tomato timer to write together for 45 minutes. Ding-ding!! We stop, have another check-in, grab a snack, a drink, I’ll share another quick prompt and set the timer for 45 minutes more of sustained writing. The prompts are meant to get you going, but if you have a project you’re focused on, even better. It’s amazing the sense of community you feel, knowing a couple dozen writers also have their heads bowed, getting words onto the page. Join us.
