Jason Arias pops-up in the Portland Art Museum galleries with his short story collection, Momentary Illumination of Objects in Motion

A fantastic short story collection about coming of age, young punkhood, multi-racial identities, hard-hard life, naive and deep-seated sincerity, and ballsiness. 

Jason Arias

Jason Arias currently lives on the Oregon coast. His debut short story collection, Momentary Illumination of Objects In Motion, was published in 2018 by Black Bomb Books. Jason’s stories and essays have appeared in The Nashville ReviewOregon Humanities Magazine, Harpur Palate, Lidia Yuknavitch’s TED Book: The Misfit’s Manifesto, as well as multiple magazines and anthologies. He is featured in the anthology Dispatches from Anarres: Tales of Tribute to Ursula K. Le Guin.
