Literary Arts and OPB have partnered to bring some of world’s greatest thinkers to audiences across Oregon and around the world. The Archive Project is an audio retrospective of some of the most engaging talks from the world’s best writers and thinkers over the first 30 years of Literary Arts in Portland.We will feature archives on our site and OPB will broadcast select talks as a weekly program on OPB radio.
Tune in Wednesday, May 4 at 9:00 p.m. for the next episode of The Archive Project on OPB radio. This broadcast features author Cristina Henríquez whose novel The Book of Unknown Americans was this year’s selection for the Multnomah County Library’s Everybody Reads program. During this hour-long broadcast, hear Henríquez discuss the power of fiction to forge stronger bonds of community and empathy.
During the month of May, The Archive Project features recordings from our 2015/2016 event season including Cristina Henríquez on May 4, Phil Knight on May 11, Rita Dove on May 18, and Mohsin Hamid on May 25.
