How did William Stafford combine generous welcome in his writing practice with such astounding production: 20,000 poems and sixty books? In this workshop, we will practice writing in the spirit of his way of writing. By reviewing selected drafts from the William Stafford Archives, and engaging a series of writing invitations suggested by his work, we will scribble our own set of evocative beginnings.
