Andrea Hollander

Andrea Hollander is the author of five full-length poetry collections, most recently, Blue Mistaken for Sky (Autumn House Press, 2018). Her first, House Without a Dreamer, won the Nicholas Roerich Poetry Prize. Her fourth, Landscape with Female Figure, was a finalist for the Oregon Book Award. Her many other honors include two Pushcart Prizes (poetry and literary nonfiction) and two poetry fellowships from the National Endowment of the Arts. In 2011, after many years in the Arkansas Ozarks, where she ran a bed & breakfast for fifteen years and served as the Writer-in-Residence at Lyon College for twenty-two, Hollander moved to Portland, Oregon, where she conducts creative writing tutorials, seminars, and workshops.
