ON THE TENTH SEASON OF THE ARCHIVE PROJECT, ENJOY DISCUSSIONS FROM PORTLAND ARTS & LECTURES, PORTLAND BOOK FESTIVAL, AND OTHER COMMUNITY EVENTS FROM OUR HOME IN PORTLAND, OREGON AND BEYOND.
Gesse Stark-Smith is the Community Outreach Librarian for Multnomah County Library. She works to break down barriers that keep community members from connecting with the library’s awesome free resources. A former Youth Librarian, Gesse enjoys filling in at storytime and writes monthly reviews for School Library Journal. She served on the American Library Association’s Amelia Bloomer Project from 2013-2016, highlighting the best feminist books published for young people. Outside of her library life, Gesse is a freelance writer and avid baker.
Our events, classes, and seminars bring the community together to hear, learn, and discuss the most compelling issues and ideas of our day. We hope you will join us in our downtown Literary Arts space, online, and at partnering venues across Portland and Oregon.
