Richard Russo is a screenwriter, teacher, and the author of seven novels, two story collections, and a memoir. In 2002, he received the Pulitzer Prize for Empire Falls, which was adapted into an award-winning HBO miniseries. Richard was born in Johnstown, New York, and currently resides in Portland, Maine.
Our events, classes, and seminars bring the community together to hear, learn, and discuss the most compelling issues and ideas of our day. We hope you will join us in our downtown Literary Arts space, online, and at partnering venues across Portland and Oregon.
