Summer 2019 Roundtable: Submitting Your Work To Journals

$15.00

Out of stock

Saturday, July 13, 2019
10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Meets at Literary Arts, 925 SW Washington
Roundtable leader: Laura Lampton Scott
A roundtable for writers at all levels
$15

Finally send those stories, essays, and poems out into the world. Ask the leader and your fellow writers for help with those worries that keep you from submitting your work – including cover letters, journal selections, and knowing when something is done. You will be challenge to submit at least one piece to at least five journals, but those who are only seeking info are welcome, too.

Laura Lampton Scott’s work has appeared in Michigan Quarterly Review, Tin House and the Guardian online, Electric Literature, Monkeybicycle, Okey-Panky, and No Tokens Journal. She has served as assistant and managing editor on books in the McSweeney’s Voice of Witness series, and she’s a MacDowell Colony fellow. Laura has taught fiction at the University of Montana, Literary Arts in Portland, and Hugo House in Seattle.

Please note there are no scholarships for Roundtable classes, and no refunds on tuition.
