John Kroger, Donna Matrazzo, and Jon Raymond visited Eastern Oregon last week as part of the Oregon Book Awards Author Tour. Wednesday, May 12th, the authors read at Fishtrap’s Coffin House in Enterprise. Thursday morning, Donna Matrazzo visited a journalism class at Eastern Oregon Univerity in La Grande and talked about her career as a freelance writer and her book Wild Things. On Thursday evening, there was a special screening of the movie Wendy and Lucy on the Eastern Oregon University campus, followed by a Q&A with Jon Raymond. The final tour event was Friday night at the Crossroads Art Center where the authors spoke as part of the Writer’s Guild of Eastern Oregon‘s Second Friday Literary Night.
