Portland Book Festival 2021 will be a hybrid event.
This year’s Portland Book Festival will present virtual programming, brought to you by Bank of America, the week of November 8–12, 2021, and in-person events on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Portland Art Museum and Portland’5, as well as virtual and in-person writing workshops at our downtown Literary Arts space.
Your Guide to the 2021 Portland Book Festival:
Passes for the single-day IN-PERSON Festival will be $15 in advance, and $25 day-of. All $15/$25 adult passes include admission to Portland Art Museum, and a $5 voucher attendees can use toward a book purchase the day of the festival. $5 Arts for All passes available with proof of SNAP/Oregon Trail card, and admission is free for veterans and active military with proof of military ID. Attendees 17 and under and/or with high school ID enjoy free admission with a youth pass. The in-person event will include a book fair and food trucks.

Please note: All attendees to the in-person Festival must show proof of vaccination, or a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of the event date to attend. Mask must be worn in accordance with local mandates. Read more here.
Day of the Festival, please be sure to keep ID and proof of vaccination or negative test results with you when enjoying the Portland Book Festival. In-person Festival attendees may be required to show proof of vaccination or negative test results when entering indoor venues even if previously provided at the box office tent, and/or advance pickup.
