Portland Book Festival 2023 Schedule of Events

This year’s Portland Book Festival returns to the Portland Art Museum and neighboring venues in downtown Portland on Saturday, November 4, 2023.

Join us for this all-ages, daylong celebration of books and storytelling in all forms, including author panels, pop-up readings, writing workshops, kids’ story time, an extensive book fair, local food trucks, and more.

A free printed copy of the official Portland Book Festival program will appear in the 10/25 issue of Willamette Week, and will be available everywhere at PBF.

How to Attend

Portland Book Festival General Admission Passes are required for all events.
Passes are $15 in advance and $25 day-of. Youth 17 & under or with a valid high school ID, veterans, and active military get in FREE. $5 Arts for All passes available for those with a SNAP/Oregon Trail Card. All full-priced General Admission Passes include a $5 book fair voucher and entry into the Portland Art Museum. Get your General Admission Pass here.

Skip the lines by picking up your passes (wristbands) in advance! Advance pass buyers can pick up their wristbands at Portland’5 Centers for the Arts’ Antoinette Hatfield Hall lobby at 1111 SW Broadway, Wednesday–Friday, November 1–3 from 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. In-person ticket purchases can also be made at this time.
