Let’s play at the intersection of language and visual art! In this pop-up class, we’ll capture the image as it appears and disappears through ekphrastic writing and erasure.
This is a free pop-up offered at the Portland Book Festival. ALL attendees must acquire a wristband before entering the class venue.
Paige Thomas
Paige Thomas is an award-winning writer, visual artist, and arts educator. Her creative work has received support from Regional Arts & Culture Council, 21ten Theatre, Spring Creek Project, and elsewhere. She holds an MFA from Oregon State University, and Person Under is her debut visual poetry collection.
