Where Do I Go From Here: Writing the Novel
Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (two sessions)
This weekend intensive is designed for writers who have written at least the first two chapters of a novel. Limited to 8 students, each participant will have their work discussed, with feedback from the class and the instructor. Discussions will be focused on character development and plot and how to chart the next steps with your novel. Students will submit 25 pages of their novel by September 12 for distribution to the class ahead of time. Students should have some experience with discussing their work in a workshop setting.
Limited to 8 students.
We want our writing classes and Delves to be accessible to everyone, regardless of income and background. We understand that our tuition structure can present obstacles for some people. Our Access Program offers writing class and Delve tuitions at a reduced rate. The access program for writing classes covers 60% of the class tuition. Most writing classes have at least one access spot available.
Please apply here for access rate tuition. Contact Susan Moore at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions.
Note: This class meets in-person at Literary Arts, 925 SW Washington. Literary Arts will require proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, or a negative test result (within 72 hours) from a healthcare provider, for entry into our in-person classes. Please see our complete Covid-19 policy here.
