Our new partner, Cafe au Play, was a fantastic host for the WITS end-of-residency reading for Franklin High School! On a beautiful Thursday afternoon nearly fifty classmates, friends, parents, teachers, and community members gathered to hear fourteen students read their prose and comics that they created over the past semester. WITS writers James Gendron and Evan Williams worked with students in Harris Ambinder, Aimee Jo, Dana Vigner, Anna York and Desi Zak’s classes throughout the semester to create, revise, and then present their work. Thanks so much to everyone who joined us and made this such a fun, lively event!
