Literary Arts seeks an intern to assist with free events at our downtown center. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
POSITION: @Literary Arts Events Intern
DURATION: The internship would start not later than February 15, 2023Â and last through mid-April 2023, roughly 5-10 hours a week, NOT EVERY WEEK. Specific events the intern would be working are listed below. Â The internship would take place evenings, from 6PM to 9PM at Literary Arts at 925 SW Washington. This is an in-person internship.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with event set-up and take-down for approximately 12 events at our downtown office space.
- Capture event photos for Literary Arts social media.
- Record and upload events to Literary Arts YouTube.
- Assist with event production at Oregon Book Awards ceremony on April 3, 2023
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will have a demonstrated interest in learning more about the nonprofit arts sector and events coordination.

COMPENSATION: This internship includes a stipend of $500, awarded at the end of the internship.
