Ariana Brown is a queer Black Mexican American poet based in Houston, TX. She is a national collegiate poetry slam champion, the winner of two Academy of American Poets Prizes, and the author of the poetry collections We Are Owed. (Grieveland, 2021) and Sana Sana (Game Over Books, 2020). She holds a BA in African Diaspora Studies & Mexican American Studies, an MFA in Poetry, and an MS in Library & Information Science.
Our events, classes, and seminars bring the community together to hear, learn, and discuss the most compelling issues and ideas of our day.
