Born in Vietnam, Theresa has traveled all seven continents including eight science support deployments to Antarctica. She has studied with two Poet Laureates (Robert Hass at UC Berkeley and Ada Limón for her MFA), although wanderlust beckons her from her desk into the natural world more often than not. She has worked for Discovery Channel, Outward Bound, the US Antarctic Program, and Wild Diversity—while stargazing has inspired her path as a professional astrologer. Theresa is thrilled and honored to serve as Youth Programs Associate with Literary Arts where she gets to support young storytellers in their creative journey. Among the joys of life, Theresa’s favorite is surfing with her kids.
