Digital Storytelling: Making Short Films
$425
Come learn the power of making short movies with your own short narrative. Digital storytelling joins the arts of writing and filmmaking to create 3-4 minute films. This is a completely DIY class; the use of AI is discourged. Students will write and record short first-person narratives or poems, and add original images, film clips, and music to create their film projects. Students might create one or two digital stories over the course of the class.
Students who enroll in this class will be expected to bring their own laptop to the class.
The work will be Macintosh-based (with iMovie as an editing platform), but those who don’t have a Mac can use an online editing platform. Digital stories are easy to make, and a powerful way to get your writing out into the digital world.
