Consider the ways changing point of view from first to second person can transform an essay from something that is simply about the writer’s experience to a piece that completely engages the reader and encourages them to enter fully into the story. Participants will look at some examples of how second person radically alters a text and then practice with a few prompts that get you working in second person. Come prepared to write.
