Ways to Give

A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account opened through a financial institution or community foundation. A DAF is a great way to make contributions to Literary Arts. Reach out to your fund administrator today to initiate a grant to Literary Arts.

A gift of securities supports Literary Arts while potentially providing tax benefits. By donating appreciated stock, you are able to claim a charitable deduction of the fair market value of the asset and avoid paying capital gains tax up to legal limits.

Corporate matching is a great way to double or triple your generosity to Literary Arts. Many companies offer programs that match employee donations to eligible non-profits. Please reach out to your human resources department to learn more about your company matching gift program and how to submit a matching gift request. 

ACH payments allow you to make gifts directly to Literary Arts from your bank account. For banking information, please reach out to the Development Office at development@literary-arts.org.

If you are 70 ½ or older, you are eligible to use your IRA to make a gift through a Qualified Charitable Distribution. In doing so, potential benefits include:  

• Satisfying your required minimum distribution, when subject to RMDs 

• Reduce your adjusted gross income by eliminating taxable income 

• Reduce taxable income, even if you do not itemize deductions
