ON THE TENTH SEASON OF THE ARCHIVE PROJECT, ENJOY DISCUSSIONS FROM PORTLAND ARTS & LECTURES, PORTLAND BOOK FESTIVAL, AND OTHER COMMUNITY EVENTS FROM OUR HOME IN PORTLAND, OREGON AND BEYOND.
Ari Chadwick-Saund lives as a South Asian genderqueer playwright/poet/lyricist and dancer/performer in Portland, Oregon. Recent works include monologues for Bag&Baggage Productions + LineStorm Playwright’s Sequestered Soliloquies series and Body Home Fat Dance’s performances at On the Boards in Seattle, Risk/Reward’s Festival of New Performance and the Knock Out Plus Size Fashion Show’s main stage performance series. They were last seen onstage leading a rousing homo holiday sing-along and spouting ferocious poetry in Renée’s Queer Cabaret #4 and #7. Audio-wise, Ari co-wrote their first original song, “Magnetism,” as part of Oregon Children’s Theatre and Kaiser Permanente’s 2021 Intergenerational Queer Audio Project.
Our events, classes, and seminars bring the community together to hear, learn, and discuss the most compelling issues and ideas of our day. We hope you will join us in our downtown Literary Arts space, online, and at partnering venues across Portland and Oregon.
