ON THE TENTH SEASON OF THE ARCHIVE PROJECT, ENJOY DISCUSSIONS FROM PORTLAND ARTS & LECTURES, PORTLAND BOOK FESTIVAL, AND OTHER COMMUNITY EVENTS FROM OUR HOME IN PORTLAND, OREGON AND BEYOND.
Caroline Paul is the author of Fighting Fire and East Wind, Rain. In 2013, her third book, Lost Cat: A True Story of Love, Desperation and GPS Technology, was published. It was named a Best Book by Jezebel and Brainpickings. It has also been optioned for film.
The Gutsy Girl: Escapades for Your Life of Epic Adventure, published in 2016, is a rally cry for girl power. Part memoir, part how-to outdoors guide, it offers life lessons through adventure stories. It’s Lean In for middle grade girls, set not in the workplace but on bicycles, tree branches, sea kayaks, and cliff edges.
Our events, classes, and seminars bring the community together to hear, learn, and discuss the most compelling issues and ideas of our day. We hope you will join us in our downtown Literary Arts space, online, and at partnering venues across Portland and Oregon.
