Director of Equity, Policy, and Communications, Prosper Portland
Chabre Vickers is the Director of Equity, Policy, and Communications at Prosper Portland. Called “one of Portland’s super-connectors” by Portland Monthly Magazine, Chabre’s passion for community is demonstrated by her advocacy with many organizations where she utilizes the tenets of Critical Race Theory to enhance access and capacity towards tangible social change for the benefit of all. She volunteers as a board member for the OHSU Avel Gordly Center for Healing, and as a Board of Professionals member for the Trail Blazers make it better foundation, and a past Executive Committee Member of the Portland African American Leadership Forum. Chabre previously served as the Chair of the City of Portland Human Rights Commission and her past career includes serving as the Vice President of Brand Experience and Director of Community Relations & Diversity Programs at Big Brother Big Sisters of Columbia Northwest.
