ON THE TENTH SEASON OF THE ARCHIVE PROJECT, ENJOY DISCUSSIONS FROM PORTLAND ARTS & LECTURES, PORTLAND BOOK FESTIVAL, AND OTHER COMMUNITY EVENTS FROM OUR HOME IN PORTLAND, OREGON AND BEYOND.
Emma Bland Smith is a librarian and writer living in San Francisco with her husband, Alex, and their children, Everett and Cate. This is her first book for children. She has written a nonfiction book for adults, San Francisco’s Glen Park and Diamond Heights, has contributed to Sunset and other magazines, and continues to write for the family website Red Tricycle. Before turning to writing, she worked in magazine publishing in New York and taught French at the community college level in the Bay Area.
Our events, classes, and seminars bring the community together to hear, learn, and discuss the most compelling issues and ideas of our day. We hope you will join us in our downtown Literary Arts space, online, and at partnering venues across Portland and Oregon.
