Pronouns: she/her
Jenna Nishimura joins Literary Arts with over a decade of project management and event orchestration experience with nonprofits and small businesses in the U.S., the U.K., and West Africa. As the Public Programs Associate Manager, Jenna supports the events such as the Portland Arts & Lectures series at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall and the annual Portland Book Festival, as well as the The Archive Project radio show – a podcast and weekly broadcast on Oregon’s NPR affiliate, OPB. When she is not making and checking off lists, Jenna can be found adventuring with her two rescue sighthounds, woodworking, drafting her work-in-progress novel, or curled up with a good book and a stash of chocolate.
Our events, classes, and seminars bring the community together to hear, learn, and discuss the most compelling issues and ideas of our day. We hope you will join us in our community space and bookstore at 716 SE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR, online, and at partnering venues across Portland and Oregon.
