Lanel Jackson is a Black Cultural Library Advocate (BCLA) team member and Library Assistant at Multnomah County Library. As a BCLA team member, Lanel works to provide culturally relevant programming, books and information to the Black community. Although she mostly reads nonfiction and history books, Lanel has a special place in her heart for children’s books.
