Education and Community Advocate
Maurice King is an education and community advocate. An apparel production and commerce professional, King has worked for companies including Gap, Inc., The Limited, The Walt Disney Company, and Nike. His community and education advocacy has spanned schools, corporations, and nonprofit organizations. Maurice is immediate past chair of the All Hands Raised board. He has family roots in the Portland area that date back to the early 1940’s. Although Northern California natives, he and his wife, Dori, have lived in multiple US cities with their two children and are humbled daily by their beloved grandchild. Maurice graduated from the University of Richmond with a degree in communications and many life experiences that have shaped his path.
Our events, classes, and seminars bring the community together to hear, learn, and discuss the most compelling issues and ideas of our day.
