Maxine Rose Schur is an award-winning children’s book author and travel writer. She has written ten books for young people, including picture books and historical novels. Her most recent book is Marielle in Paris. A former professional actor, she gives guest lectures and teaches writing workshops. She has a bachelor’s degree in theater arts from the University of California at Berkeley and a master’s degree in liberal arts from Stanford University.
Our events, classes, and seminars bring the community together to hear, learn, and discuss the most compelling issues and ideas of our day.
