Ocean’s passion moves creatively through every cup they serve. They’ve been working in coffee since 2015, and since 2019 have rooted themselves in Portland, where connection blooms in the shared ritual of a well-made drink. Behind the bar, they find a kind of flow. The steam rising, espresso flowing, moments of care exchanged. Outside of coffee, Ocean turns to painting and piano, soft places of expression, or curls up with their beloved cat, Cloudia, letting the world slow around them.
