Portland Book Festival Cover to Cover returns November 3-9, 2025!
We are looking for an eclectic mix of fun and engaging programs. The Cover to Cover events fall “under the umbrella” of PBF and must have a literary or storytelling connection, however, they don’t need to be explicitly book readings. Consider this as an invitation to go outside the possibilities of a traditional reading: literary trivia, poem karaoke, comedy, dance, and more! We are particularly excited about “co-authored” events: collaborate with other journals, presses, organizations, businesses, etc., and get creative!
Submission to Cover to Cover will be accepted on a rolling basis throughout the summer and we encourage you to apply early! Applications will close on Monday, September 15. Please submit one proposal per event.
Portland Book Festival is committed to supporting writers of color and highlight their stories. BIPOC partners and presenters are especially encouraged to submit.
