Creation Island is a generative writing salon hosted in Portland; Creation Island is a place for experimental and unbridled creative exploration. We lead participants through varied writing prompts and provide practical insight, tips, and tools for building a sustainable writing practice. In this one-day class for the Portland Book Festival, we will focus on how to realistically show up to the page every day, and how to find access points and routines that work for you. Come join us!
