Learn some key aspects of short form poetry and utilize them in the composition of your own work. Participants will read a variety of short form poems from different styles, eras, and cultures and devise writing prompts from what captures their attention in this work.

Wendy Chin-Tanner is the author of Turn (Sibling Rivalry Press, 2014), which was an Oregon Book Award finalist, and co-author of American Terrorist (A Wave Blue World). She is a founding editor at Kin Poetry Journal, poetry editor at The Nervous Breakdown, staff interviewer at Lantern Review, and co-founder at A Wave Blue World.
