taught by B.Frayn Masters

You labor in solitude, dreaming about being asked to give a reading, and even if you’re experienced, you suddenly find yourself behind a microphone wondering what, exactly, you’re suppose to do onstage. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to challenge and entertain your audience from your opening words, build suspense through your delivery, and develop seemingly off-the-cuff anecdotes and connectors so that your message lands in the hearts and souls of your audience. This workshop will be the appropriate mix of scary, fun, sweaty, and invigorating.

B. Frayn Masters is the Creator, Executive Producer, and Host of the Back Fence PDX storytelling series and is also the PDX Producer for The Moth GrandSLAM. She was voted Best Storyteller/Spoken Word Artist for the 2015 Willamette Week’s Best Of issue. Follow her on Twitter @bbfraynmastered.
