Lydia Davis, celebrated fiction writer and translator of French works like Swann’s Way and Madame Bovary, visited Grant High School students today to talk about her life and work. Students from Jamie Zartler’s creative writing class read a number of her stories to prepare for the visit, and asked great questions about her writing life. Several brave students from Christine Pallier’s French classes asked their questions in French!
