We are planning our College Essay Mentoring Project for this fall, and this year is one BIG event at Reed College!
We will again be working with students from Franklin, Madison, and Roosevelt High School–90 in total–on Monday, November 18 from 1:30 to 3:45 p.m. We are excited for our new partnership with Reed College, which will give students an educational experience on a college campus. Susie Bartley continues to be our phenomenal partner. (She recently won a prestigious award from the National Endowment for the Arts–click here for details–and we’re so proud to be working with her!)
To apply, download the form by clicking here, or contact Mel Wells at firstname.lastname@example.org. (Note: PPS now has an online background check process.) To help us maintain our one-on-one experience with students and mentors, please be sure this is a firm commitment. And please pass along this information to colleagues and friends who would also be great mentors.
We’re looking forward to another great afternoon, bringing together our community and helping the next generation to succeed. Thanks to everyone who helps us continue this project!
