by Mel Wells
On a foggy Thursday evening, Annie Bloom’s Books was cozy and warm with a full house of Wilson students and teachers, WITS writers, and friends and family who came to see Wilson students perform their work. Local writers Lorraine Bahr, James Gendron, and Amy Minato taught semester-long residencies in the classes of Rodney Maack, Evan Price, and Ellen Whatmore at Wilson. Thanks to our WITS liaison, Linda Campillo, for helping set these up, and to Joanna Rose for being our great emcee for the evening. Judging by the volume of laughter and clapping from the audience, as well as the smiles on students’ faces, everyone had a great time.
