Literary Arts is in the 2020 Give!Guide

Literary Arts is proud to be included in the Willamette Week Give!Guide for the 14th year in a row!

Our goal is to raise $20,000 through the Give!Guide to support our program that reach 20,000 Oregonians annually. When you make a gift to Literary Arts, you help strengthen our entire community by encouraging writers to create new work, helping readers hear different voices and perspectives, and inspiring the next generation through great literature.

In thanks, we’re offering the following incentives to those who donate to Literary Arts at certain levels through the Give!Guide between November 1 and December 31, 2020:

$800: 21/22 Literary Arts Season Pass
Enjoy a full season pass to Literary Arts’ events for 2021/2022: including Portland Arts & Lectures, The Moth, Everybody Reads, and Verselandia!

$300: Two spots in a virtual Delve Readers Seminar of your choice
These seminars are a perfect combination of a book group and a college English class. Find our current schedule here.

$300: A seat in a virtual writing class of your choice
Our writing classes are perfect for students at all levels who are looking to advance their skills and make writing a priority in their life. Find our current schedule here.

$200: Access to our Margaret Atwood event and a copy of Dearly
Snag a spot at this virtual Portland Book Festival event on November 17 and receive a free copy of Margaret Atwood’s new poetry collection, Dearly.

To make things more exciting, we will be hosting two raffle days when your contribution will enter you into a raffle to win prizes. Donate to Literary Arts on November 21 or December 15 for a chance to win the following packages.

November 21
“Portland Book Festival” Raffle package: Donate to Literary Arts through the Give!Guide on November 21 for your chance to win a Literary Arts tote bag, 3 books from past Festivals, and 2 passes to the 2021 Festival. Winners must donate on November 21 to be eligible. All gifts $10 and above are eligible. Winner will be selected at random. No other incentives can be awarded to the winner.  

December 15
“For the love of literature” Raffle package: Donate to Literary Arts through the Give!Guide on December 15 for your chance to win a seat at an upcoming writing class, a seat in an upcoming Delve Seminar, a broadside featuring a poem from a student poet, and a Literary Arts tote bag! Winners must donate on December 15 to be eligible. Winner will be selected at random. No other incentives can be awarded to the winner.  

Give!Guide will also be hosting their own Big Give Days where your contributions to participating nonprofits will enter you into raffles to win exciting prizes. Keep an eye out on our social media to know when these are and what you could win!
