In December 2024, we commissioned a poem from former Literary Arts Board member and Oregon Poet Laureate Anis Mogjani to commemorate the grand opening of our new home at 716 SE Grand Avenue in Southeast Portland. Anis performed the poem in our new independent Bookstore as part of our opening, with his words welcoming in community and marking this transformative moment for the organization.
