We are excited to welcome former Literary Arts board members, Anis Mojgani, and Corrine Oishi, to the Strunk & White Society.
The Strunk & White Society is an honorary society of distinguished advisors made up of individuals who have made a significant contribution (programmatic, financial, or otherwise), to Literary Arts. Society members are elected by the Board of Literary Arts for a lifetime membership. Members act as community ambassadors of the organization and remain engaged with our current activities and programming through advising on strategy, planning, programs, as well as reminding the organization of its history.
Anis Mojgani

Anis Mojgani served two terms as Oregon’s 10th Poet Laureate, and is co-creator of the Oregon Telephone Poetry Hotline. The author of six poetry collections, the libretto for the opera, Sanctuaries, and a children’s picture book forthcoming from Neal Porter Books.
Originally from New Orleans, Anis served on the Literary Arts board for six years, andcurrently resides in Portland, Oregon [https://www.thepianofarm.com/about/]
Corrine Oishi

Board Member)
Corrine Oishi joined her husband’s custom residential design and construction company as the financial manager after teaching language arts at the high school level and working with continuing education students at the Opportunity School in Forest Grove. She continued to serve on community boards with hospice, Planned Parenthood, and as an “I Have a Dream” Foundation class 8 sponsor. Most recently, she has engaged her passion for public education through serving on the boards of OCF and FBO/Chalkboard. She received her BA in English from UC Berkeley and MA in English and Education from PSU. For the past forty years, her family has enjoyed living alongside Gales Creek near Forest Grove.
We are thankful for community members like Anis and Corrine who are committed to uplifting and advocating for the arts.
