Although we can’t gather in person right now, Literary Arts remains committed to our mission. We hope you will join us for our online Delve Readers Seminars this spring—share these offerings with those you know around the state and the country!
Our offerings for April and May include 2-3 week Delves on a single work by authors like Borges, Allende, John Berger, and others. A few of our previously scheduled 6-week Delves have moved online as well.
Our first free online Delve discussion focused on Severance by Ling Ma, and led by Delve guide Hannah Kim, filled quickly. On May 1, Ivonne Saeed will be leading a free discussion on Paul Auster and Jose Saramego’s Blindness. With more planned, we’ll offer free, 90-minute Delve discussions every Friday in May. These discussions are limited to 16 people and provide an opportunity to gather virtually with lively discussions around a variety of works.
Zoom is an online teleconferencing platform. Delves that meet with Zoom take place “live”, at a scheduled time each week, and the teacher and participants take part in discussions, much like you would in a Delve that met face-to-face. Participants will receive information on how to access the class after they register.
