Three to Thirteen Writerly Minutes

Literary Arts new podcast, Three to Thirteen Writerly Minutes, can be downloaded from the Literary Arts web site and is also available on iTunes. In the most recent episode, Megan Ferguson, who was featured in the WITS anthology, I Once Was Young and Strong, reads from her story House of Capricorn. Megan’s story was chosen by Glimmer Train for special recognition in this year’s anthology.

Other podcast episodes have featured Writers in the Schools authors Jess Lamb and Carson Cistulli sharing writing prompts and tips for writers, and a recuring series, Mystery Writer Q & A, where a clip from an unidentified former Portland Arts & Lectures speaker is played. The podcast host, Kirsten Collins, invites you to see if you can guess the author! Upcoming episodes include a workshop with Writers in the Schools author and Oregon Book Awards finalist John Morrison.

Update: Check out an interview with Kirsten Collins, podcast producer, at PDX Writer Daily.
