Student happy to see Atwood and Le Guin well and full of wit

Natasha Anisimova, a student at Woodburn Arts and Communication Academy, stood before Margaret Atwood and Ursula Le Guin last Thursday to ask the first audience question. Her voice clear and without a touch of nerves, Tasha asked Atwood what drives her to take on such large-scale social issues in her fiction. Unfortunately we don’t have video footage of the question and its answer, but Mary caught up with Natasha after the show to talk about what it was like to see writers speak that she had studied in class. Natasha loved the openness of the women’s conversation, but was even happier to see the writers she reads alive, well, and with a sense of humor.
