Pronouns: she/her
Bethany Byrd-Hill is originally from the Washington DC Area and studied Theatre Arts at the University of South Florida. While completing her undergraduate degree, she was a White House Intern during the Obama Administration. Once graduated, she worked for a number of theatre companies from Atlanta to Upstate NY to Custer State Park in South Dakota, eventually landing in the San Francisco Bay Area. She most recently was the Director of Ticketing for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco. She recently moved to Portland with her fiancé where they were able to buy their first home. She’s ecstatic to be working at Literary Arts as the Director of Development. Her current book recommendation is I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy.
Our events, classes, and seminars bring the community together to hear, learn, and discuss the most compelling issues and ideas of our day. We hope you will join us in our downtown Literary Arts space, online, and at partnering venues across Portland and Oregon.
