Maria Scrivan is a New York Times bestselling author and award-winning syndicated cartoonist. Her debut graphic novel, Nat Enough, was released in April 2020, and the follow-up, Forget Me Nat, in the following September. Maria’s laugh-out-loud comic, Half Full, appears daily in newspapers nationwide and on gocomics.com. Her cartoons have appeared in MAD Magazine, Parade, Highlights, Wired and many other publications. She also licenses her work for hundreds of greeting cards.
Our events, classes, and seminars bring the community together to hear, learn, and discuss the most compelling issues and ideas of our day. We hope you will join us in our downtown Literary Arts space, online, and at partnering venues across Portland and Oregon.
